Mithuna by Paul John Whisky is part of Paul John's Zodiac series. This limited expression, named after Indian counterpart of Gemini, is 2nd in the Zodiac series after Kanya - Virgo!

Mithuna is NAS Paul John Whisky and uses unpeated Six-Row Barley and distilled in a pot still. Mithuna is aged 5 Years in Virginia American Oak Casks and finished in Ex-Bourbon Casks.

Cᴏʟᴏʀ: Mahogany - Dark Henna Notes.

Lᴇɢꜱ: Medium - High.

Nᴏꜱᴇ: Initially somewhat subdued for me but gets open after a few minutes. Dark Fruits, Vanilla, Dark Honey, Fennel Seeds - Licorice, Cardamom dust with hints of Orange and Cocoa. Pᴀʟᴀᴛᴇ: Syrupy mouth feel, light Maple, Oak Spices - Cinnamon, Dark Fruits - Plum, Raisins, Candied Orange, Sugar Cane Juice with Fennel Seeds and Ginger Spices along with Cocoa dust. Fɪɴɪꜱʜ: Long - Honey, Raisins, Cinnamon Spice, Cocoa with Sweet Betel Nut and Oak Dryness.

Overall, this is a delectable dram with lots of layers and complexity. For some reasons, the first time I tried Mithuna I got more Fennel - Licorice flavors compared to having it second time while writing the review. Mithuna is Non-ChillFiltered and bottled at 58% ABV(116 Proof) and even after 8-10% share taken by Goan Angel's it has lovely flavors.
