Life after Death?

Happy New year ! I hope you had a blessed holiday season and festivities that led to many bottle kills. With so many unique and awesome bottle designs it often seems like a shame to pitch them in the bin.

Last year I learned about Upcylcled Modern Art; it is a father and son craft business dedicated to upcycling wine, beer and liquor bottles.

Instead of adding to landfills, Hoover (father) and Hooverney Castano (son) create a variety of unique items by repurposing existing bottles. I'm now a proud owner of two Dalmore cigar ashtrays. In their online store, you can find

Tumblers

Candle holders with candle

Bottle Boxes

Ash trays / Serving Dish

Shot Glasses

Jewelry

Desk and Hanging Lamps

Any many more!

So how do you get your empty bottles (though I am sure they would appreciate full ones just as much) to them?

Well I saved the best part for last, all you need to do is provide your email and Hoover will send you a shipping label. Problem Solved. Your bottle will never have to see a landfill! And you might add a new piece to your home.

Pictured here is my bottle of Angles Envy Rye that is now in transit to Hooarte where they will transform it into an ashtray.

Cheers to Many Bottle Kills In 2021 and going green.

Love seeing bottles transformed into functional art that tells a story. This is the way!
